Content Policy

What is and isn’t allowed on FLX+. Version 1.0, effective 17 October 2026.

Never allowed

  • Explicit sexual activity or nudity intended to arouse.
  • Any sexualisation of minors. This is reported to the authorities.
  • Content that attacks or incites violence against people for their religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery and deceptive synthetic media of real people.
  • Promotion of extremism or terrorism, and content that facilitates crime.
  • Content that infringes someone else’s copyright or other rights.

Allowed with context

  • Graphic violence: allowed in a dramatic context with an age rating and advisory; gratuitous gore is not.
  • Crime: fictional crime is allowed; instructional or glorifying content needs human review.
  • Real people and likeness: needs consent or a rights record; synthetic likeness needs explicit permission.

Allowed

Romance and mature themes without explicit content, with the right age rating.

Ratings and Kids mode

Every title carries an age rating (U, U/A 7+, U/A 13+, U/A 16+, A) and content advisories, following India’s Digital Media Ethics Code. Kids mode shows only titles rated for children and is protected by a parent PIN. An age rating never overrides a prohibition.

Reporting

Use “Report” on any title or episode, or Help in the app. Reviewers decide in context and may remove or restrict a title.
